The finale of Miss Grand Chiangrai 2022 was held on 25th December 2021 at the Riverie by Katathani, Chiangrai where Malaika Khan was crowned the new queen. She will now represent Chiangrai at Miss Grand Thailand 2022. Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien also attended the event finale.

Malaika Khan represented Chiang Khong at the regional contest. She is 18 years of age and stands 170 cm tall. Malaika is of Pakistani descent who is fluent in five languages. The newly crowned Miss Grand Chiangrai 2022 Malaika Khan’s court included –

1st Runner-up – Nachita Jantana

2nd Runner-up – Duangrak Lueangkhamin

3rd Runner-up - Onrarat Vuenchiew

4th Runner-up – Mathurtrin Kaewmano

On being crowned Miss Grand Chiangrai 2022, Malaika took to her official social media as she wrote, “The first thing that I wanna say is thank you so much with my whole heart to everyone I have a lot of word to say to everyone for supporting me in this journey. All of supporting give me the big power to fight for it. I am here with my full of passion to represent power of new generation.” 

The contestants who competed at Miss Grand Chiangrai 2022 were Sayamon Mattioli representing Mae Lao, Thitiyapa Kongma representing Mae Suai, Yeewha Jirawa representing Mae Fah Luang, Nada Patan representing Phaya Mengrai, Onrarat Vuenchiew, Nirada Krftartfphong representing Chiang Saen, Saranrat Noonoi representing Mae Sai, Mathurtrin Kaewmano representing Thoeng, Duangrak Lueangkhamin representing Mae Chan, Nachita Jantana representing Wiang Pa Pao.
