According to the rumours that have been circling over the beauty pageant community, Senorita Colombia 2020 Maria Fernanda Aristizabal could represent Colombia at Miss Grand International 2021. The rumours began to circulate after Juan José Mendoza announced to leave the franchise and it was speculated that Concurso Nacional de Belleza organization has the rights of the Miss Grand Colombia 2021 franchise. The organizations are yet to confirm the news but the pageant community feels excited about Maria Fernanda Aristizabal if she gets elected to represent the country at Miss Grand International 2021. Maria, if selected, will succeed Miss Grand Colombia 2020 Natalia Manrique for the title.
Born in the city of Armenia, capital of the department of Quindío, Maria Fernanda Aristizabal is 23-years-old and stands 173 cm tall. She studied at the San Luis Rey School, and then entered the Luis Amigó Catholic University to study Social Communication. She is a professional model who began her modelling career in 2019 after she was elected as Miss Quindio and participated in the National Beauty Contest and was crowned as Miss Colombia 2020 or Senorita Colombia 2020 at the end of the event finale.
Maria Fernanda Aristizabal became the first woman from Quindio to win the crown and is very focused and empowered by what she is doing in her life currently. If she is elected to represent Colombia at Miss Grand International 2021, she is going to be dedicated and focused on winning the crown as she is positive, passionate, and is eager to win the crown for her country.
The diva’s mother in an interview explained that Maria is a woman who works hard and stays focused till the end of the competition. Maria was supposed to represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2020 but after failing to reach an agreement with the Concurso Nacional de Belleza, the new owners of the Miss Universe Colombia franchise decided to choose their representative for Miss Universe 2020.
