Curacao Beauty Pageant organization, through the official social media, has announced Kanisha Sluis as the new Miss Grand Curacao 2022 and will represent Curacao at Miss Grand International 2022. Kanisha succeeds Kimberly Fabiola Fernandes Miss Grand Curacao 2021.
Kanisha is 26 years of age and is currently a Speech Therapy student. Not new to the pageant world, Kanisha is former Miss Universe Curaçao 2015. She competed at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant where she made it to the Top 10 and placed 8th overall. With her international exposure and her stunning beauty, Kanisha will surely be a strong contender for the international crown.
On winning the opportunity to represent Curacao at Miss Grand International 2022, Kanisha took to her official social media as she wrote, “After 7 years I’m stepping back into the beauty pageant world as your Miss Grand international Curaçao 2022. I humbly accept this responsibility and challenge to represent my beautiful island Curaçao with pride and love. Special thanks to Curaçao Beauty Pageant Committee for this opportunity.”
Kimberly Fabiola Fernandes Miss Grand Curacao 2021 represented the country at Miss Grand International 2021 but failed to place in the Top 22. The country is yet to pioneer its win at Miss Grand International 2022.
