As Miss Grand International 2018 crowned its new queen just days ago, the countries have already begun their search to find their new queen to represent in Miss Grand International 2019. The Dominican Republic has just opened its registrations for the potential candidates to apply for the national competition, the dates of which are yet to be announced.

As the Organization took to their social media, they announced, “If you think you have what it takes, send your photo and a small video clip that lets us know why you should be the next Miss Great Dominican Republic 2019.”

The Rules of Participation for Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2019 are as below –

-Single and has never been married

-Has never given birth

-Between the age of 17-27

-Minimum Height of 168 cm

-Natural born female

-Has good morals

This year, Mayte Brito represented the Dominican Republic in Miss Grand International 2018. She managed to place in the Top 10 during the finale which was held in Yangon, Myanmar. This surely makes it a little tougher for the potential applicants to present themselves with grace and elegance and give an equally commendable performance at the national competition and win the chance to represent the Dominican Republic in Miss Grand International 2019.
