Skarxi Marte was crowned Miss Grand Dominican Republic 2023 at the finale of the national pageant held on 5th August 2023 at the Gran Teatro del Cibao, Santiago as she became the official representative of Dominican Republic at Miss Grand International 2023.

Skarxi Marte is 21 years of age and stands 180 cm tall. She is a model and a biology student, along with being the co-president of the organization ‘Angeles Unidos’ in the U.S, that offers a helping hand to a vast amount of immigrants in the United States and some parts of Latin America.

Marte has had the honor to work for several years with children, the wealth of their mental health and their transition to adulthood for the development of ideals, identity that will prevail for the rest of their lives has shaped her views to represent her country and be able to keep spreading the message of unity despite cultural differences at the international platform.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of Miss Grand International, is scheduled to be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
