Véronique Michielsen Marcillo was crowned Miss Grand Ecuador 2023 at the finale of the glittering event held yesterday i.e. 16th April 2023. The finale was broadcasted onTC Televisión where seven delegates competed for the national crown. Véronique will now represent Ecuador at Miss Grand International 2023.

Véroniqueis 22 years of age and stands 183 cm tall. She is a Belgian-Ecuadorian student of Marketing and Communication who live in Antwerp, Belgium. Not new the pageantry, Veronique was finalist of Miss Grand Belgium 2021. Finally, this year she won Miss Grand Ecuador 2023 where she represented Ecuadorian community residing in Europe. Her father is Belgian while her mother is Ecuadorian. She speaks English, Spanish and Dutch fluently.

Also present at the finale was former Miss Grand International Maria Jose Lora who was the part of the jury responsible for crowning the new winner. Véronique succeeds Miss Grand Ecuador 2022 Lisseth Naranjo who represented Ecuador at Miss Grand International 2022 but remained unplaced.

Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam where Miss Grand International 2022 Isabella Menin of Brazil will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
