The finale of Miss Mundo Dominicana 2023 (Miss World Dominican Republic 2023) was held in Gran Teatro Del Cibao (Cibao Grand Theatre), The Performing arts theater, Dominican Republic on Saturday, 15th April 2023 at 7:00 PM. At the end of the event finale, Maria Victoria Bayo was crowned the new queen.
Maria Victoria Bayo succeeds and was crowned by Emmy Peña Miss Mundo Dominicana 2022 and will represent her country at Miss World 2023. Maria Victoria Bayo is graduate with a degree in Business Administration and International Business and professional model managed by Sokrates Models Management. She is a Volleyball and a Golf player.
Maria has huge shoes to fill of her predecessor Emmy Pena who represented Dominican Republic at Miss World 2021/22 where she placed in the Top 40 with her stellar performance and also awarded Miss World Caribbean 2022 title.
Miss World 2023, the 71st edition of the Miss World, will be held in the United Arab Emirates in 2023 which makes it the first edition to stage the final in the Middle East. Miss World 2022 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
