Christina Baker crowned Miss Grand England 2018

Christina Baker has been crowned as Miss Grand England 2018 at the event finale of 2018 UK Power Pageant which crowns seven queens to the international pageants from UK. A resident of Bridgetown Barbados, Christina Baker posted a picture on her social media announcing her crowing. 

She will be on tour with two other girls Olivia McPike who was crowned Miss Grand Scotland 2018 and Lauren Parkinson who was crowned Miss Grand Wales 2018. All the three girls would be representing their respective regions at the Miss Grand International final which has previously been held in Thailand, Las Vegas, and Vietnam!

The three beauty queens will tour and visit some of the most amazing parts of the country and compete for the title of Miss Grand International. 2016 was the first year that United Kingdome Power Peagent sent delegates to the international final and our Miss Grand Wales 2016 Rachael Tate placed in the Top 20 and our Miss Grand England 2016 Cherelle Patterson who won the Best in Evening Wear award.

Christina Baker expressed that her journey till now has been great and she is ready to take on the responsibility to represent her country with utmost sincerity and dedication. She is ready for the international pageant as she has been preparing for this opportunity for very long time.  Having faced a few rough days in the last year, Christina has overcome all her traumatic experiences and emerged out as a winner.

Other winners of the UK Power Pageant Queens were  Miss International UK 2018 Sharon Gaffka, Miss Intercontinental England 2018  Sarah Davies, Miss Intercontinental Scotland 2018 Laura MacMillan and  Miss Intercontinental Wales 2018 Joey Staerkle.
