Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 is scheduled to be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 6:00 pm and will be broadcast live on SCTV. At the conclusion of the pageant Miss Grand Indonesia 2017 Dea Goesti Rizkita will crown her successor, who will represent Indonesia at the Miss Grand International 2018 pageant in Myanmar on October 25.

The pageant will see 30 regional winners from all over Indonesian provinces, fighting for the crown of Miss Grand Indonesia 2018. The contestants are Eggy Fegri Lindira Putri (Aceh) , Ayu Sada Devi Pradnyadari (Bali) , Kenya Nindia Elsa (Bangka Belitung) , Brenda Theresa (Banten) , Nadia Purwoko (Bengkulu), Callista Zahra Aidi (Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta) , Stephanie Cecillia Munthe (Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta), Risma Wati (Jambi), Mentari Putri Novel (Jawa Barat), Bunga Ghassani (Jawa Tengah), Rizky Maylina Fitri (Jawa Timur), Vegiananda Elya (Kalimantan Barat), Refiana Resti Ardini (Kalimantan Selatan), Susan Yuliana (Kalimantan Tengah), Amel Barack (Izzaty Amalia Ibtisam) (Kalimantan Timur), Gabrielle Andrianne Assa (Kalimantan Utara), Arneta Dwitania (Kepulauan Riau), Sevin Dwi Putri (Lampung), Angelika (Batfutu Maluku), Maya Dian (Nusa Tenggara Barat), Hermin Rachel Makanuay (Papua Barat), Deborah Karubaba (Papua), Diana Hariaty Sinaga (Riau), Andini Ika Aprilla (Sulawesi Barat), Rahma Yani (Sulawesi Selatan), Lupita Randawi (Sulawesi Tenggara), Sabrina Malik (Sulawesi Utara), Nada Ferlysia Hadde (Sumatera Barat), Putri Azizah Rozi (Sumatera Selatan), and Vivi Wijaya (Sumatera Utara).
Miss Grand Indonesia 2018 is the inaugural edition of the Miss Grand Indonesia pageant. Earlier the representative of Indonesia for Miss Grand International pageant was selected from the winners of Puteri Indonesia pageant.
