Claire is inspired by the famous saying – “Whenever the world becomes miserable and blue, your smiles strengthen the entire world to get through.”
The Australian beauty gave a beautiful message for the earthquake victims in Japan. She said – "I would like to thank everyone for their concern about my well-being following the recent earthquake in Japan. You do not need to fear for me, the earthquake happened in Kumamoto in Southern Japan, very far from where I am currently residing in Tokyo, so I was not affected. Unfortunately, however, for the people of Kumamoto, they have been devastated by this natural disaster. Lives have been lost, people injured, their homes collapsed, their belongings destroyed. Japan has felt like a second home to me during my frequent visits in recent years and I hold it and its people are very dearly in my heart, I feel their pain as if it was my own. We must also keep in mind the thousands of people devastated by the earthquakes across Ecuador. It is going to take years and billions of dollars to rebuild their town and lives, but no money in the world can bring back the hundreds of lives lost.”
“To all those affected, find strength and comfort in the fact that my heart, and the hearts of the world are with you in this time of loss and devastation. I hope you will all keep Kumamoto and Ecuador in your thoughts and prayers and if you can, please donate to the Red Cross or other groups who have worked so hard to recover survivors, provide shelter to those left homeless and bring relief to these areas. All my love and hope, always, - Claire"
