Miss World 2007 Eilin Zhang Zilin has recently given birth to her first child who is  a baby girl.

According to sources, the mainland beauty announced the news on her ‘Weibo’ account recently, by posting a photo of her daughter’s tiny hands holding on to her father’s hand.

She expressed her joy in her own words saying, "Neil is finally able to hold his little love. She's 50cm long and weighs 3.4kg. Her legs are not that short. Thank you everybody for your concern. I love you all."

The Chinese beauty queen also posted a picture of gifts from friends and fans, and showed her gratitude towards them for their kindheartedness.

Zhang Zilin was crowned as Miss World 2007 at the 57th scintillating gala night held at the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China PR on 1 December 2007.  

The 32-years old beauty queen married her boyfriend Neil Nie in Phuket, Thailand back in 2013. She announced her pregnancy in December last year.

Zhang Zilin was born in Weihai, Shandong, and later moved to Haidian District, Beijing,where she finished her high school and commenced further studies at the University of Science and Technology Beijing.

Apart from being a former beauty queen, she holds a treasure of versatile talent. She is a great actor and started her film career in 2011 with the film ‘The Underdog Knight 2’. In 2014, she starred in a Hong Kong fantasy film ‘The Monkey King’.

She also lent her voice for the 2008 Summer Olympics soundtrack and also appeared in the music video for the same song entitled ‘Beijing Welcomes You’.
