Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi who is in Indonesia is enjoying her stay and making sure to freeze every bit of her homecoming. Ariska’s victory as Miss Grand International 2016 marked Indonesia’s first international pageant win. However, Ariska’s victory has given rise to various other consequences for the beauty queen.
To fulfil her duties and responsibilities as Miss Grand International 2016, Ariska had to keep her career at stake of becoming a surgeon. She had to keep her studies at halt to continue with her duties as Miss Grand International. She aspires to become a plastic surgeon someday.
As part of her reign, Ariska will be travelling to 10 different countries for anti-war campaigns. Ariska said that as the reigning Miss Grand International, she will have to give her best to help the war victims. She also added that she will be working with the United Nations Organisation to assist the victims of war.
On returning to Indonesia, Ariska was greeted with overwhelming fans and supporters who had been waiting for her arrival. The whole ambience turned into an emotional one as the excitement and joy was visible on the faces of all the fans and the people who came to welcome her.
Ariska Putri Pertiwi was crowned as the Miss Grand International 2016 on 25th October 2016 at the finals held at Westgate International Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
