The wait is finally over! Miss Grand International organization, just hours ago, took to their official social media as they announced the host venue and finale date of the 2020 edition of the international pageant.
After all the delays due to covid-19 pandemic across the world, Miss Grand International 2020 will be held in Thailand. All the delegates will arrive to Phuket at the beginning of March where they will quarantine together for 14 days. The final show will be held on 27th March 2021 in Bangkok.

Miss Grand International 2020 will be the first major international pageant to be held in 2021 after Miss Earth 2020 hosted a virtual pageant. Thailand seems to be one of the countries with fewer covid-19 cases and thus it is only sensible to host a non-virtual pageant there.
Miss Grand International 2019 Valentina Figuera from Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the 2020 edition. At the moment, forty-nine delegates have been appointed/crowned to represent their respective countries at the international pageant.
