Just after a few weeks of the great finale of a grand pageant, the Miss Grand International Organisation is getting a dose of after-shocks. The organisation has found out, recently, that the national directors of the organisation have been approached by a group wanting to conduct Mister Grand International, and have even made fan pages.

The president of Miss Grand International Organisation, Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, posted on one of the social media pages of the pageant clarifying and warning the national directors. Here’s what he wrote:

Due to recent concern from few of our National Directors who have been approached from an organization who has just appointed or organized Mister Grand International 2016 and created few fan pages by using the name Mister Grand International, MGIO would like to clarify that the mentioned group of people has no relation to the Miss Grand International Organization by Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, the President & Founder of MGIO.

The MGIO's main objective is to run an international 'beauty pageant' and we have no interest and no future plan of expansion to other area. We will take a legal action against usage of Grand International copyright and name. Please be aware that they are now looking for NDs by using 'Grand International' name and credibility, please do not involve with them as we will take full legal action against anyone involved as well as terminating your current contract with Miss Grand International Organization.
