Miss Grand Japan 2017 is all set to take place on 12th September 2017 at Platinum Takanawa Selene, Tokyo. Eight finalists are all pepped-up to compete for the crown and the title of Miss Grand Japan 2017. Winner will get the opportunity to represent Japan in the Miss Grand International 2017 pageant to be held on 25th October 2017 in Vietnam.

Satomi Matsuda from Hokkaido
Miu Takahashi from Kanagawa
Aya Kiyota from Kumamoto
Erika Tsuji from Kyoto
Erina Kudo from Tokyo
Ayami Yamamoto from Tokyo
Yui Morie from Kyoto
The theme for the Miss Grand Japan 2017 is the Spirit of Japan. Mayu Kubota will be responsible for styling and hair of Miss Grand International 2017 contestants whereas Hitomi Sato and Chisa Higuchi will be mentoring the contestants.
Last year, Ayaka Sato was crowned as Miss Grand Japan 2016, who will now pass the crown and reign to her successor.
