The Miss Universe Albania organization hosted the 2022 edition of the national pageant on 9th and 10th June 2022, where stunning delegates from Albania and Kosovo competed for the crowns of Miss Universe Albania 2022 and Miss Universe Kosovo 2022.

Apart from the title crowns, Edona Aliu was crowned Miss Grand Kosovo 2022 at the end of the event. Originally born and raised in Switzerland, Edona is 26 years old and stood out as a top contender with her charm and delicacy. She is a professional model and currently works as an event organizer.

Edona’s parents came from Gjilan, Kosovo. She grew up among Albanian language and culture. Her hobbies are reading and fitness. Being a beauty queen is one of her biggest dream since childhood. The diva feels that the crown speaks for itself and the pride, honor and responsibilities it brings along.

She succeeds, Miss Grand Kosovo 2021 Mejreme Hajdaraj who was supposed to represent Kosovo at Miss Grand International 2021 but couldn’t participate in the international competition. This year, with sufficient time in hand, Aliu will prepare for the international stint focusing on a strong comeback for the country.

Edona Aliu will represent Kosovo at Miss Grand International 2022 pageant, the 10th edition of Miss Grand International, Miss Grand International 2022, all set to be held on 25th October 2022 in Indonesia.
