Leyli Chupani Miss Grand Kurdistan 2015 Expelled or Withdrew?

Pageants, be it national or international, are turning into a hub of all sort of controversies. Like Miss Universe pageant wasn’t enough to twist our minds with all the whirlpool of hullabaloos that now the Miss Grand International pageant too jumped in with its share of controversies. A few days ago, it was informed that Leyli Chupani Miss Grand Kurdistan withdrew from the pageant due to reasons unknown. Well, it seems the reasons are spreading its wings and all we see is not one but many faces of explanation on the withdrawal.

After walking out of the MGI 2015 pageant (as said by the Leyli), Miss Grand Kurdistan shared her reason for doing so and said that she withdrew from the competition due to "poor treatment" during her stay. But it seems like this was not quite the reason. Immediately after her statement, the organisation came up with their reason and said that Miss Kurdistan was expelled from the competition due to attitude problems and other violations.

If rumours are to be believed, it is also being said that during her stay, Leyli claimed that she was sick and was also taken to the hospital, but nothing wrong was diagnosed. But Leyli insisted on returning back home, to which the organisation explained, that she had a commitment with the contest and would have to take the whole responsibility if she wishes to leave. Apparently, Leyli agreed to all this. It was after Leyli came back home that all the fuss and controversy regarding her withdrawal kicked off.

Pageant fans came forward and said that, to justify her decision, Leyli started posting a bunch of lies on her personal social media account, claiming that she did not receive proper assistance and that contestants were not given enough food and water. The allegations don’t end here. The insiders from the organisation and pageant also argue that Leyli found it difficult to socialise and gel well with other girls.

Well, the fact remains that participating at a beauty contest is no piece of cake and is in no way like going on a vacation. There is a regime that the delegates need to follow, which also means waking up early and going to bed late night at times. And amidst all the preparation, there are moments of fun and leisure for the beauties. Coming back to the controversy, what do you think of the whole incident? Is it a withdrawal or expel? And who do you think is actually at fault?
