Kanchana Chaimunmung was crowned Miss Grand Lamphun 2022 at the final show held on 27th December 2021 at the Nimman Hill Maya Lifestyle shopping center. She will now represent Lamphun at Miss Grand Thailand 2022. Also present at the finale was Miss Grand International 2021 Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tien who dazzled in a slit gown.

Standing 170 cm tall, Kanchana Chaimunmung gave a stellar performance at the regional contest. Kanchana resides in Bangkok and has studied at Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University – SSRU. On winning the crown, she took to her official social media to reveal her emotions in a post captioned, “Finally the day has come. I have done it, everyone. I have to go to Miss Grand Lamphun 2022 as I hoped and intended.”

“I can honestly admit that I had high expectations and a lot of pressure too. I have to change myself. Everything from walking, walking, talking, and many other things that are walking to Miss Grand Lampu. I have come to be part of the number 1 stage of Thailand. It is not easy until this point. I cried many tears until today”, she added.

Also at the finale, Sorn Likhitpaksorn Vajidsuwan was crowned Miss Grand Lampang 2021-2022 as she became the official representative of Lampang at Miss Grand Thailand 2022. She was also crowned by none other than the reigning Miss Grand International herself.
