At the grand coronation of Miss Grand Malaysia 2019 that held just hours ago at Meritz Hotel, Miri concluded with the crowning of the new Miss Grand Malaysia 2019. At the gala night, the Top twenty-four delegates added the grace to the evening and competed for the national crown.
Out of them, the young beautiful, Mel Dequanne Abar who represented Sabah, was crowned the new queen and will now represent Malaysia in Miss Grand International 2019. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Malaysia 2018 Debra Jeanne Poh. The newly crowned queen not only took over the crown but also the responsibilities and advocacies associated with the title.
Mel Dequanne Abar represented Sabah in the national pageant and with her incredible performance won everyone’s hearts at the finale. The young diva hails from Kota Kinabalu and prior to this, she held the provincial title of Mis Grand Sabah 2019. With her stellar performance, she not only won everyone’s heart but also is a force to be reckoned with at the international platform.

The event finale touched the heights of success as the evening witnessed various celestial performances and the event was entirely filled with beauty and glamour. All the delegates looked immensely gorgeous in their gleaming evening gowns and added grace to the evening.
