Tania has been practicing Hula Hoop for six years thanks to her sports teacher who introduces students to this discipline at college. This is how she quickly takes a liking with a growing interest. The teenager does research on the subject and never misses any online "tutorial" to practice numbers. Tania’s focus is to work on campaigns to raise awareness for mental health, the environment and as well as animal welfare.

The diva is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she represented the country at Miss Intercontinental 2019 where she was placed at top 20 at the end of the event finale. She later represented the country at Top Model of The World 2019 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up. She has also worked as a flight attendant because traveling is one of the things that she loves and is passionate about.

Tania mentioned that even though she was not able to win the Miss Intercontinental 2019 title, she is extremely proud of herself. “I didn't win a title, but I'm extremely proud, because the biggest reward was seeing the pride on my parents' faces,” she mentioned. She has always wanted to represent her country on the international scene and be an inspiration to others. She further added, “The title and the platform allow me to influence people in a positive way and to sensitize them on certain subjects. Modelling and beauty pageants have helped me develop my character and step out of my comfort zone. A beauty pageant allows us to represent our people and fight for a good cause."

With Miss Grand Mauritius 2020 title, she is committed to raise awareness against animal abuse along with mental health conditions in the country. She is focusing on preparing herself for the finale round so that she can perform her best, impress everyone, and take the crown home.
