Miss Posh World held the finale of Miss Grand Minnesota 2022 on Friday, 28th January 2022 at 4PM (Central Time). At the end of the competition, Annais Loko was crowned as Miss Grand Minnesota 2022. Loko succeeded and was crowned by Miss Grand Minnesota 2021 Viet Mi Nguyen.
“Crowns are earned not given,” posted Annais in a quip while on one of her rehearsals for the pageant. “I’m proud to announce that I am now Miss Grand Minnesota 2022,” shared the queen after earning that same crown.
The event was hosted by Alexandria Kelly, Top 3 at Miss Eco International 2020 and Miss Eco USA 2020. Esteemed panel of judges included Abena Akuba – Miss Grand International 2020, Madison Callaghan – Miss Grand United States 2021, Sofia Acosta – Miss Supranational USA 2021, Jessy Peralta – Miss Eco USA 2021, Liah Macias – Miss Eco Teen USA 2021, Heather Thompson – Miss Mission International 2021, Hajamaya Mulbah – Miss Grand Liberia 2021 and Kat Katakalides –United States of America Miss New Jersey 2021.
Kat Katakalides congratulated Annais and wrote, “Welcome to the Miss Grand Minnesota legacy Annais Loko. It was such an honor to be a part of your judging panel. You have such a passionate heart for impacting the youth in Minnesota and I can’t wait to see what you achieve with this title Your journey to nationals begins now and I’m here to support you the entire way!”
Annais is now the official representative of Minnesota for Miss Grand USA 2022 set to be held sometime this year. The winner of this year’s edition will succeed Miss Grand USA 2021 Madison Callaghan for the title.
