The Miss Portuguesa organization has recently appointed Ana Rita Aguiar as the new Miss Supranational Portugal 2022 as she will now be representing Portugal at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant. Ana succeeds Miss Supranational Portugal 2021 Nadini Machado for the title.

The organization announced, “Miss Ana Rita Aguiar will represent Portugal at Miss Supranational 2022, which will take place in Poland next July.” Born in Vale de Cambra and graduated in Physical Education and Sports, Aguiar is a Masters in Science. She can be described as a simple young woman, very connected to her origins and family, friendly, persistent and convinced of her goals.

Ambitious and dedicated, Ana surrenders herself to all challenges with her heart and soul and the desire to want to make her country proud and honor each day that passes, grows and there is nothing more rewarding than feeling that the mission has been accomplished.

Not new to pageantry, Aguiar was Miss Portuguese 2018 and already has several international participations. Apart from the national title, Ana has previously represented the country at Miss International 2019, Reina Hispanoamericana 2018 and World Miss University 2018. She has a strong experience in international pageant circuit and has proven to be a stunning performer.

While in September 2021, during the coronation ceremony of Miss Portuguesa 2021 pageant, Ana Teixeira was adjudged as the second Lady of Honor and was crowned as Miss Supranational Portugal 2021 to represent Portugal at Miss Supranational 2022. Even though the reason for her replacement is yet to be disclosed, it is confirmed that Ana Rita Aguiar is the newly appointed delegate for the same.

Aguiar will be representing Portugal at the Miss Supranational 2022 pageant, the 13th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant, to be held in Poland, later in July this year. Chanique Rabe of Namibia will crown her successor at the end of the event.
