In a latest interview, Herlene Budol confirmed her participation in Miss Grand Philippines 2023 which will be the first solo edition of the national pageant after Binibining Pilipinas dropped the Miss Grand International license late last year.

Herlene Budol is a TV host, vlogger, artist and an influencer. Herlene is 23 years of age. Not new to the pageant world, Budol represented her birthplace Angono, Rizal during Binibining Pilipinas 2022 where she was adjudged as the first runner-up and also bagged seven special awards.

Last November, Budol also went to Uganda to compete in Miss Planet International but due to some unfortunate incidents with the organizers, she withdrew from the competition. The pageant was postponed and later moved to Cambodia.

Miss Grand Philippines 2023 will be held for the first time where delegates from all over the country will compete for the national crown and the winner will represent Philippines at Miss Grand International 2023. Miss Grand International 2023, the 11th edition of the international pageant, will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
