Thaweeporn Phingchamrat crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023

Thaweeporn ‘Aoom’ Phingchamrat was crowned Miss Grand Thailand 2023 at the finale of the national competition held on Saturday, 29th April 2023 at MGI Hall, Show DC Megacomplex in Bangkok. The 10th edition was hosted by Thai-Australian singer, TV presenter Matthew Deane.

Thaweeporn Phingchamrat is 27 years of age and a model from the southern province of Chumphon. She bested 76 other contestants to win the national crown. Not a stranger to pageantry, the stunning beauty was adjudged third runner-up in Miss Grand Thailand 2017. She was later appointed to compete in Miss United Continents 2017 in Ecuador where also placed third runner-up and bagged the best in national costume award.

 

 

Along with the winner, Tia Li Taveepanichpan of Phuket was adjudged first runner-up while Pimjira Charoenluk of Bangkok, Ajcharee Srisuk of Loei, and Ketwalee Phlobdee of Phrae were adjudged as the second, third, and fourth runners-up, respectively.

The rest of the Top 11 finalists, who were adjudged as the fifth runners-up, included Pattaravadee Boonmesup of Chiang Rai, Tantawan Jitteelak of Lopburi, Kamonwarai Prajakrattanakul of Nakhon Phanom, Rina Chatamanchai of Nakhon Ratchasima, Kodchakorn Kontrakoon of Nong Bua Lamphu, and Vanessa Nattacha Wenk of Saraburi.

 

 

Top 20 also included Praifah Tongrae, Pacharada Fusuamakawa, Manika Thippanet, Chonticha Kaewbutdee, Wichayanard Narad, Supaporn Naksuwan, Sophie Siriyakorn Trau, Worawalun Putklang, and Karnruethai Tassabut.

Thaweeporn will now prepare to represent Thailand at Miss Grand International 2023 to be held in Vietnam this October. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Grand Thailand 2022 Engfa Waraha who represented Thailand at Miss Grand International 2022 and was adjudged as the first runner-up.
