Deria Koc has been adjudged the title of Miss Grand Türkiye 2022 as she has become the official representative of Tukey at the upcoming edition of Miss Grand International 2022.

Deria Koc stands 170 cm tall and speaks 4 languages including, Turkish, German, English and French. She holds a bachelors’ degree in Health Economics. Deria works as a refugee consultant and is currently busy with caring for Ukrainian refugees.

Not new to the pageantry, Deria also holds the title of Miss Supranational Germany 2019 and represented her country at Miss Supranational 2019 but unfortunately could not be placed. She has both citizenships, the Turkish and the German one. Deria has also worked as a volunteer for years helping underprivileged children.

Turkey is returning to Miss Grand International after 2016. In 2016, Diana Osypenko represented Turkey at Miss Grand International 2016 but failed to win a place in Top 21. The country is yet to pioneer its win at the international pageant.
