The grand coronation of Miss Grand International will be held on 27th March 2021 at Show DC Hall, Bangkok, Thailand. The pageant was originally scheduled to be held in Venezuela but due to Covid-19, the organization decided to move the finale to Thailand. Miss Grand Venezuela 2019 Valentina Figuera from Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
Eliana Roa was appointed as Miss Grand Venezuela 2020 and succeeded Miss Grand Venezuela 2019 Valentina Figuera for the title. She is 24-years-old and stands 183 cm tall and is an economics student at Petropolitana University in Caracas. The diva is passionate about representing her country at international stage and expressed that she feels a sense of responsibility as the current title holder of the beauty pageant is from Venezuela itself.
Eliana describes herself as a charismatic, positive, and perseverant woman who is going to use the platform to be an impactful and positive role model for the people not only in Venezuela but across the world. The reigning queen, Valentina crowned Eliana while announcing her appointment as Miss Grand Venezuela 2020 and mentioned, “The road looks long, but it becomes short, take advantage of every moment as if it were the last. Assume this new responsibility with all the love in the world, the one that moves me mountains, the one that makes everything possible. The commitment is with Venezuela, but also with you.”
Since her appointment, Eliana has been actively working and carrying out her crown duties with utmost sincerity and honesty which has managed to impress the pageant fanatics. She assured that she will be using the platform to fulfil the expectation of the people of Venezuela and do justice to the crown just like Miss Grand Venezuela 2019 Valentina Figerua did. She is strong, confident, and keeping her mind focused at the prize which is in this case is the crown. She is grateful and feels blessed that she has been appointed to experience such a wonderful beauty pageant and is looking forward to meet the delegate from across the world.
Eliana mentioned, “I only ask you to accompany me with the best of vibes in this new challenge that I have imposed on myself, to bring joy to my country.” She believes in putting in an effort, being dedicated, and prior preparation in order to achieve what she wants and Miss Grand International 2020’s title is also one of the things she aspires to have.
Valentina has been one of the most successful beauty queens who were crowned in 2019 as she managed to carry out her crown duties prior to the pandemic and used the lockdown period to connect with her fans and followers via YouTube channel. The diva also became a front liner in helping the ones who needed help during the pandemic after the lockdown eased down a little bit. She travelled and carried out her duties which is one of the things she is grateful for and feels blessed to had a chance to travel.
With Eliana Roa’s strong and confident personality and preparation that is going on in a full swing is expected to bring the crown back to Venezuela and make a back-to-back win happen for the country. If she wins the title, Venezuela will be the first country to win Miss Grand International title twice in the history of the beauty pageant.
