Miss Guinea Equatorial is all set to host the 2021 edition of the national pageant, i.e., Miss Guinea Equatorial 2021 this Saturday on 30 October, 2021. The 2020 edition of Miss Guinea Equatorial was cancelled from being held last year due to the impact of COVID-19. The organisers have now decided to hold the gala in an all-new avatar. The event is going to be held virtually this year and will be broadcasted live on these platforms –

The grand finale of Miss Equatorial Guinea 2021 will begin in the afternoon at 2:00 p.m. this weekend, where delegates from all over the country will compete to win the title and an opportunity to represent the country in the upcoming Miss Universe pageant to be held on 12 December, 2021 in Eilat, Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The virtual gala will also see the coronation of Miss Guinea Equatorial International who will then go on to represent the country at the international counterpart of the pageant set to be held in the fall of 2022.

The winner who will best the other 16 candidates to the title will succeed Miss Guinea Equatorial 2019 Serafina Eyene, officially bringing an end to her reign. The pageant is held by the Agencia Mogue organization which currently holds the licenses for both Miss Guinea Equatorial and Miss Guinea Equatorial International.
