Miss Haiti 2018 has begun to prepare for the grand finale of this year’s edition which will be held on 5th July 2018 at the Marriott Hotel where Miss Haiti 2017 Cassandra Chéry will crown her successor and the winner will represent Haiti at Miss Universe 2018. The pageant will also crown its representative to Miss International 2018.
The delegates have been preparing their very best to win the national title. Just recently, the official photos of the contestants in their swimwear were revealed. All the beauty queens dazzled the shoot, looking ever so beautiful.
However, in an unfortunate change of events, Louina Lafalaise had to withdraw her pariticipation from the pageant before the finale. A medical student, Louina is not new to the pageant world as she was also a contestant at Miss World America 2017. She also performed quite well at the competition as she placed in the Top 10.
The sad news for all her fans and supporters came in on the social media of Miss Haiti Organization as it was revealed –
“Suites à des problèmes personnels Louina Lafalaise se voit dans l’obligation de mettre fin à sa participation à Miss Haiti 2018. Miss Haiti Organisation et les postulantes à Miss Haiti 2018 lui souhaite le meilleur des succès dans ses projets.”
