The Miss Heritage Thailand organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 27th February 2022 where Tavee Ruechanok Meesang was crowned as Miss Heritage Thailand 2022 and will now be representing the country at the 60th Miss International pageant as Miss International Thailand 2022.
Tavee is a professional News Anchor and also a First-Class Honors with Gold Medal in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the Thammasat University. The diva is stunning, intelligent and will definitely be a strong delegate for the country at the international platform.
During the final question answer round the diva was asked, “What is the pride of being born as a Thai woman to you?” Tavee beautifully answered, “The pride of being born as a Thai woman or being born as a Thai is that our country, our society, food, culture, its uniqueness is different from every country in the world. Do you all know why? Because we were never a colony, we have independence, we never let anyone in and that is why we have a beautiful culture that is unique in the world. It provides us with food and glory as it includes humility, gratitude and a sense of civility. We have to present ourselves as Thai, so that foreigners can recognize me as Miss Thailand, with or without the crown.”
The diva succeeds the reigning Miss International 2019 Bint Sireethorn of Thailand for the crown. Sireethorn has been the longest reigning queen with a tenure of two years now as the pageant was cancelled for the last edition due to the global pandemic.
The Miss International 2021 pageant was cancelled amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the 60th Miss International Beauty Pageant, the next edition will be held in the fall of 2022. Through their slogan ‘Cheer All Women’, the organization is still committed on pursuing the goal of supporting all women, and continuing with the legacy of this beauty pageant, which is “to promote friendship and goodwill with other countries in the world” and the “realization of world peace through international exchange”.
