The organization of Miss Idaho USA hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Idaho USA 2021 on 27th September 2020 at at Red Lion Hotel Templin's on the River in Post Falls, Idaho where Katarina Schweitzer was crowned as the new Miss Idaho USA 2021 at the end of the event finale. She succeeds Miss Idaho USA 2020 Kim Layne for the title who will be representing the state of Idaho at the national competition of Miss USA 2020 in November 2020.
Hailing from Boise, Katarina is 26-years-old and holds a degree in Masters of Education in Early Childhood and Special Education, and a certificate in Infant and Toddler Mental Health from Boise State University. She is an alumna of Alpha Chi Omega, the National Honours Society, and is a previous NJROTC Cadet Commander.
In her introduction video she explained that she has faced a lot of challenges in life but has built herself in a way that she can overcome her challenges with her hard work and efforts. After winning the title, she took to her social media to express her gratitude by stating, “So many years of hard work, dedication, tears, smiles, friendships, lots of no’s, sponsorships, connections, and lots of love from you all has come to this moment! Thank you all for believing in me, and loving me through it all!”

Katarina is a strong, confident, and determined young woman who believes that she has the skills and ability to win the title of Miss USA 2021 and represent the USA at Miss Universe 2021 stage. When not teaching, Katarina enjoys runs with her dog, and watching or playing football. Katarina comes from a military family and has spearheaded a program called Operation Support Our Troops. She is very proud of her achievements and believe that she would use her personal experiences to create awareness for the young women across the world.
Kallie Peck from Franklin County was crowned Miss Teen Idaho USA 2021 at the end of the event finale and will be representing the state at the Miss Teen USA 2021 competition. Her court includes, first runner-up: Jenna Beckstorm, second runner-up: Ellie Wolfe, third runner-up: Emily Houck, and fourth runner-up: Brinley Hall.
