Femina Miss India 2017 is walking towards the finale in full vigour and grace. The contenders from the southern and eastern zones have been revealed, while northern and western zone contenders are yet to be announced.
As per the latest updates by Femina Miss India, the winners of the western zone will be crowned on 23rd May 2017, and the crowning moment will be televised live on Jio TV at 9pm. Femina Miss India pageant is surely taking all the efforts to make this year a memorable one to remember. The pageant has come up with major changes in the format this year. Segregating the auditions on different levels will help cover maximum regions of the country, and will increase the probability of getting more deserving candidates
The organisation has moved a step ahead and has been training the participants from the initial level itself to train them for the nationals.
Another change that is interestingly noticeable is that the Femina Miss India Organisation has waved off the Bikini round for audition. So, there will be no Swimsuit competition for the aspirants this year on audition level.
The organisation has also brought down the height criteria to 5.5” and above. Since, the Miss World Organisation itself states that they don’t really take the height into consideration while selecting the winner, it was only wise to bring down the age criteria down. This will again increase the probability to find a suitable contender to represent at the Miss World pageant.
