Miss India Kolkata 2015 finalists promote Swachh Bharat Mission

Femina Miss India 2015 is moving closer to the finale. On March 28’ 2015, with the conclusion of the pageant, India will mark a new beginning for one fortunate beauty queen’s reign. As the pendulum of thrill and excitement is at its swing, the gorgeous ladies are in their complete “ready for action” spirit. Recently the finalists of Miss India Kolkata 2015, joined hands and supported the “Swachh Bharat Mission”, to promote a clean and healthy living environment in Kolkata, India. The Miss India Organisation, pledged towards a cleaner India by volunteering for the mission. Swach Bharat Mission or Clean India Mission was launched on October 2’ 2014, by the Prime Minister of India. The mission is an initiative taken by Narendra Modi, PM India, to keep the country clean.

The finalists of Miss India Kolkata 2015, volunteered for the mission and cleaned and swept clean the roads of Kolkata, India. The beauties not just cleaned the streets, they even created awareness among the masses and spread the message of keeping the city clean and maintaining the hygiene. Ever since the launch of the mission, famous personalities from all walks of life have joined it in support. And now, Indian beauties too are coming forward in support of the mission. Last we saw Asha Bhat, Miss Supranational 2014, promoting and supporting the mission on January 26th 2015, during the Republic Day Celebration in Bangalore, India.

Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that selects representatives to compete at international pageants like Miss World, Miss International and Miss United Continents. The Miss India pageant is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. Koyal Rana, the reigning Miss India will crown her successor at the finale eve of Miss India 2015 on 28 March, 2015. And the winner of Miss India 2015 will go on to represent India at Miss World 2015 whereas the First runner up will represent India at Miss International 2015 and Second Runner up will represent India at Miss United Continents 2015.
