Brittany Winchester was crowned as Miss Indiana USA 2017 on October 23, 2016, and succeeds Miss Indiana USA 2016 Morgan Abel. The state finale was held in Carmel. 26-year-old Brittany Winchester, of Indianapolis was crowned Miss Indiana USA 2017 after a weekend full of accomplishments and dedication of young women across the state of Indiana.
The Palladium in the Center for the Performing Arts served as the venue for all pageant activities. The delegates at the event were judged under three equal categories consisting of Personal Interview, Swimsuit and Evening Gown.
The beauty is overjoyed after winning the title and says, "As a resident of Indiana, I am incredibly honoured to represent the pride and glory of our wonderful state as Miss Indiana USA 2017. Through my participation in the pageants, I am overjoyed at the chance to showcase everything that living in our beautiful state and being a Hoosier means to me, and I pledge to continue to make Indiana proud."
As the title holder of Miss Indiana USA 2017, Brittany Winchester will travel throughout Indiana making appearances and acting as ambassador of the state at a variety of charitable events and social functions.
