19 Feb 2020 | Abigail Henry

The 16th edition of Miss Indonesia, i.e., Miss Indonesia 2020 is all set to host its coronation on Thursday, 20th February 2020, at Studio RCTI + MNC Studios, Kebon Jeruk, Jakarta. Miss Indonesia 2019 Princess Megonondo from Jambi will crown her successor at the end of the event.

This year, Miss Indonesia introduced its new crown. The crown titled "Spirit of Indonesia" is expected to present a fighting spirit for Indonesian women in the global arena. This crown is a work of UBS Gold with a frame made of white gold, studded with zirconia swarovski so that it gives a red accent. The combination of both red and white symbolizes Indonesia. Also, this year's event will be graced by Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica.
