Miss Intercontinental 2017 has concluded with the victory of Verónica Salas Vallejo from Mexico. While she was excellent, her court was no less especially in the famous Question and Answer round. They were spot-on with their precise answers.

In every beauty pageant, the Question and Answer round is arguably the most awaited segment. Everyone wants to see how their favourite queen will perform in this round. Also, this round holds such an important part in the competition, probably one of the biggest deciding factors to choose the winner.

Let’s see what the Top 6 queens of Miss Intercontinental 2017 had to offer in their Question and Answer round –

The first girl to answer was Amanda Cardoso from Brazil. She was asked, “If you will become Miss Intercontinental, what would you say to the other 64 contestants?”

She answered, “I had an amazing time today with all the girls. Each one of them is special in their ways, their personalities, and the way they speak to me. So, I would thank you for everything that you did for me, all the sweet moments, the parties, the nights that we had, for everything, so special.”

Next was the winning answer by Verónica Salas Vallejo from Mexico. She was asked, “What qualities should be there in a Miss Intercontinental?”

She answered, “She should be able to take forward the organization with passion, discipline, love and she should do it with confidence.”

After that Katarina Sonja Rodriguez from the Philippines was asked, ““What is the most important thing that you have learned about participating in Miss Intercontinental?”

“The most important thing that I have learned in joining Miss Intercontinental is an Arabic word named after one of the Sunrise Resorts and that is Meraki. It means to do all things with passion, soul, and creativity. When I heard this word and its definition, it resonated with me until now and I think it will for the rest of my life. Therefore, that is the most important thing I learned while participating at Miss Intercontinental—to do all things with soul, passion, and creativity,” she passionately answered.

Lee Su Jin from Korea answered that. She was asked, “If you were to change an event in history, what event it would be and what would you do to change it?”

She replied, “I would like to work as an actress and contribute towards world peace.”

After that Cathelijne Madelief Heppenhuis from the Netherlands was asked, “If you could know one thing about your future, what would you want it to be and why?”

She answered, “If I could know one thing about my future, I would say nothing because I live in now. What’s going to happen tomorrow we will see, right? We should live in the moment because sometimes things change and they change for good. I was fat but look at me now. Life’s doors are open to possibilities. So, I would say ‘Nothing’.

Last to come on stage to answer was Lizeth Mendieta Villanueva from Colombia. The question for her was, “If your life would be rewritten, what would you erase and what you would let us see?”

She answered, “My life is full of happiness and opportunities. I would erase nothing. Thank you to all, my life is complete. This is the person who I am and I say thank you to god all day. I pray for all the people, including me and my family.”
