Miss Intercontinental 2018 is all set to host its grand finale in a few days but before that, the contestants are competing in various preliminaries to maintain a strong foothold in the competition. Just hours ago, the Beach Wear Competition was held in Playa Calatagan, Batangas where the delegates strutted the stage in their gorgeous outfits.
Gabriela Soley of Paraguay was awarded the title of Miss Playa Calatagan at the end of the Beach Wear Competition. She won 1,000 USD cash as the prize. Playa Calatagan - Landco is the official beach resort of the 47th Miss Intercontinental pageant.
Ingchanok Prasart representing Thailand, Laura Longauerova representing the Slovak Republic, Adriana Moya Alvarado representing Costa Rica and Hillary Hollmann representing Colombia were adjudged as the runners-up at the competition.
As the contestants dazzled in their outfits, each of them made sure that they put on their best performances to make a mark in the competition in the initial days. It is also to be noted that the preliminary competitions also play an important role in the pageant’s crowning of the winner.
The National Costume Competition and Evening Gown Competition will be held on 19th January 2019 and 17th January 2019 respectively. The finale will then be held on 26th January 2019 at MOA Arena, the Philippines where Verónica Salas Vallejo will crown her successor at the end of the finale.
