At the grand coronation night of Miss Earth Colombia 2019 held on 22nd August 2019 at Teatro ABC in Bogotá, Colombia, Betania Rojas Rincón was adjudged the position of first runner-up as Miss Earth Colombia-Water 2019. Thus, she was awarded the title of Miss Intercontinental Colombia 2019 and will now represent Colombia in Miss Intercontinental 2019. She succeeds Miss Intercontinental Colombia 2018 Hillary Hollmann del Prado.
Betania Rojas Rincón represented Santander at the national contest and performed with grace and elegance. Not new to the pageantry, she was awarded the second runner-up position at Miss Tourism Globe 2018 as she represented Venezuela. She was also a delegate of Miss Venezuela 2016. With all her experience in the industry and her gorgeous beauty, she will surely be a strong competition at Miss Intercontinental 2019.
Last year, Hillary Hollmann del Prado represented Colombia in Miss Intercontinental 2018. She performed with excellence and at the coronation night she was awarded the third runner-up position. Colombia holds two Miss Intercontinental titles under its belt.
Along with her, Yenny Katherine Carrillo who represented Cesar was crowned Miss Earth 2019. Her court included Miss Earth Colombia-Water 2019 - Betania Rojas Rincón, Miss Earth Colombia-Air 2019 - María Carolina Quintero and Miss Earth Colombia-Fire 2019 - María Paula Castillo.

The coronation night also saw in attendance Miss Earth 2018 Phuong Khanh and Miss Earth Fire 2018 Melissa Flores who were there to cheer the delegates and made the finale night even more memorable. The entire production was heavily applauded by the spectators as everyone was happy with the results.
