At the grand finale of Miss Czech Republic 2020 held last night at the Aureole premises in Prague and broadcasted on Ocko Tv, Veronika Šmídová was crowned Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic 2020 and became the official representative of Czech Republic in Miss Intercontinental 2020. Veronika succeeded and was crowned by Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic 2019 Mirka Pikolová at the end of the event finale.
Hailing from the city of Prostejov, diva is 19-years-old and stands 177cm tall and is currently studying Civil Service and Administrative Procedure. She is passionate about beauty pageants and swimming. Veronika outperformed nine other delegates to win the national crown, giving her best performance at the national contest.
Veronika believes in the saying, “Trust the timing of your life,” which shows that she is ready to put on the hard work and determination towards her goals and keep going. On asking about where does she see herself in future, the diva stated that she wants to complete her education first. After completing her education, she would like to pursue modeling to mark her own standing in the beauty pageant world.
The diva will use the platform given to her to inspire people for doing good and positive things in life. She is herself a positive, humble, and compassionate person and would like to pass onto that. She believes that charity means being an inspiration to other people to help other people and that is something she would work on.
On asking about what would winning the title mean to her, to which Veronika stated that it means a journey where she would like to discover and explore herself. She is very keen on learning new things, experience new experiences in life and Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic 2020 is her path to do so. She strongly believes and recommends other that everyone should stay happy and never let anyone bring them down.
Along with Miss Intercontinental Czech Republic 2020 Veronika Šmídová, Karolína Kopíncová was crowned Miss World Czech Republic 2020, Natalie Kocendova crowned Miss International Czech Republic 2020, Barbora Aglerova´ was crowned Miss Grand Czech Republic 2020 and Angelika Kostyshynová was Miss Supranational Czech Republic 2020.
The gala evening was moderated by actor David Gránský, performed by singer Debbie, SuperStar 2020 participant Adéla Krejdlová, rapper Sharlot, singer Adam Mišík and rapper Dorian.
The ten stunning beauties, other than the winners, who competed for the crowns were Adela Maderycova, Tereza Blatakova, Sandra Bourdon, Jana Smejkalová and Markéta Chytilová. All the girls underwent intensive training and various challenges in which they had the opportunity to fight. Veronika is young, confident, strong and seems like a strong contender for the title of Miss Intercontinental 2020.
