The organization of CNB appointed Paola Belén Zamora Macías as the official representative of Ecuador at the Miss Intercontinental 2020 competition which is scheduled to take place next year in the month of January. Paola has succeeded Miss Intercontinental Ecuador 2019 Camila Dayana Valencia Andrade for the title and is very excited to take over the crown duties and prepare for the beauty competition.
Paola is 23-years old and has studied Commercial Engineering and would like to study marine biology as a specialization. She is very excited for representing Ecuador at an international stage where she can showcase her country’s culture and traditions on-stage.
The diva is not new to the world of pageantry as she was a part of Miss World Ecuador 2019 where she was placed at Top 9 at the end of the event finale. She is strong, confident, and determined to mark her standing in the international stage. She was motivated and supported by her mother and older brother to enter the pageant.
Paola has immense love for animals and this love has led her to rescue abandoned animals from the street and take them home to find them a permanent home. She explained, "We lack culture, many people do not understand that animals also feel and do not have a voice to speak, so I would love to be the voice of animals and make it public.”

The diva further added, "It has a lot to do with the environment, maritime life, everything, it would be something I would work on with love all my life, not something forced.” She also wants to be a positive and an impactful role model for women across the world and make some difference in their lives.
Paola has beautiful curls that goes very well with her enchanting and charming personality that can help her to impress the judges as well as the audience at Miss Intercontinental 2020 stage. She is very optimistic towards life and believes that if one works hard for what they want, they will get it eventually. She is very passionate about using the platform to make a good and positive impact on the society. She describes herself as sharp, determined, and confident to win the title.
