Surina Jaidka crowned Miss Intercontinental India 2019

Miss Intercontinental India 2019 has been recently crowned at the coronation night held on 31st August 2019 and the winner is none other than Surina Jaidka. The newly crowned beauty succeeds Miss Intercontinental India 2018 Suman Chellani.

The presence of the reigning Miss Intercontinental Karen Gallman, Miss Earth 2018 Nguyen Phuong Khánh and Miss Earth – Water 2018 Valeria Ayos made the evening more happening and glamorous. Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman crowned Surina as the new queen.

Surina after receiving the crown took to her official Instagram account where she posted, “Proud to represent India as Miss Intercontinental India 2019. Dream Come True. A big thank you to Detlef Oberkönig, Karen Gallman Suman Chellani and Divine Group India.”

The newly crowned beauty describes herself as Confident, Compassionate, and Outgoing. She is a basketball player who in her spare time loves practising and honing her skills. She is no stranger to pageantry as she has competed in various pageants such as FBB Campus Princess 2018, Femina Miss India North 2018 and secured the place in the Top 20 in Miss Universe India 2018 finale and won Miss Water Baby Award in Miss Diva 2018 pageant.

Along with her, Tejaswini Manogna was crowned Miss Earth India 2019, while Rashmi Madhuri and Nikeet Kaur Dhillon were adjudged the first and second runner-up respectively.

Last year, Shreya Rao Kamavarapu represented India at Miss Intercontinental 2018 but failed to win any of the positions in the finale. Therefore, the country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Intercontinental beauty pageant.
