The 49th edition of Miss Intercontinental, i.e., Miss Intercontinental 2021, is scheduled to take place in Sharm El Sheik, Egypt on 29th October 2021, where stunning delegates from all over the world will compete against each other for the coveted crown. Miss Intercontinental 2019, Fanni Mikó, from Hungary, will crown her successor at the end of the event.

While the stunning delegates have arrived at the venue and have started with the pre-pageant activities, Indonesia’s Bella Aprilia Sant has recently revealed her national costume for the pageant. The national costume, ‘The Goddess of Prosperity’ is inspired by Dewi Sri, The Goddes of Rice and Prosperity that is worshipped in Bali.

Dewi Sri is always depicted as a youthful, beautiful, with stylised facial features idiosyncratic to the respective locale. Balinese societies believe that a great force aides them in achieving good harvests. As though they believe that is such power that created the rice stalk for their lives. And that great power is manifest in Dewi Sri, the goddess of rice and prosperity.

Dewi Sri is embodied in the culture and prevails through the generations and considered to be the inspirer of Bali’s highly productive method of cooperative rice farming as well as Bali’s master landscaper. The costume is designed by the very talented Inggi Indrayana Kendran.

Bella Aprilia Sant is 23 years of age and hails from Jember, East Java. She is not new to the pageant world as she was the champion of Indonesia's Top Model East Java in 2012. Standing 175 cm tall, Bella is already a professional model.

A cheerful, confident and independant person, Bella sure will be a potential front runner for the international crown, especially with a strong national costume presentation like this. She is determined to Indonesia into the next level through Miss Intercontinental 2021.
