Just before the grand finale of Miss Intercontinental 2017 edition, the competition recently the girls in the national costume round, that took place at Sunrise Crystal Bay Resort, Egypt. All the contestants showcased the pride of their nations through their ultra-glam national costumes.

One thing is for sure, these girls are here for some serious competition. All of them presented themselves wonderfully in this round, highlighting the essence of their nations through intricate details of their costumes. From beautiful and majestic headgears to some lovely stonework, their costumes were a sight to behold.

Standing in the open garden of the hotel, we also saw some amazing photo shoots of these girls in their national costumes.

Next up is New Zealand’s Meghan in her funky blue costume. This costume has a special work of Pounamu (New Zealand’s Greenstone) that has a very important role in Maori culture. It is considered a treasure and therefore protected under the Treaty of Waitangi. It’s a symbol of prestige and therefore it’s passed from one generation to another.
