The organization of Miss Intercontinental South Africa crowned Lesedi Hlatywayo as Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2020 on 15th November 2020 after which she earned the opportunity to represent South Africa at Miss Intercontinental 2020 stage. She has succeeded Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2019 Dane Venter for the title and is very excited to take over the crown duties and start her preparation for the competition.
After being crowned as Miss Intercontinental South Africa 2020, Lesedi who is 21-years-old took to her social media to thank everyone for being supportive and motivated towards her throughout the journey. She mentioned that without being able to compete for two years, she has been able to perform her best at the stage and she is grateful that the organization has been able to see her dedication and determination towards the crown.

The diva is beautiful, strong, and confident with herself and that was showcased while she performed. She describes herself as vibrant, energetic, and outspoken woman who is hopeful and optimistic with her performance at Miss Intercontinental 2020 stage. She is not new to the world of beauty pageants as she was crowned Miss United Continents South Africa 2017.
Lesedi is studying towards her LLB degree at the University of South Africa as well as National Cerificate in Parallegal Studies at Boston City Campus and Business Collage. She has mentioned that she will keep working hard and with her determination, she will be able to make the people of South Africa proud. The diva lives by her dreams and aspirations by these words, “A successful women is one who uses the bricks others have thrown at her to build a firm foundation, that a positive attitude gives you control over any circumstance and that the power within me gives me the ability to make a positive change in the future of tomorrow.”
