Emmy Carrero to represent Venezuela at Miss Intercontinental 2022

The Miss Intercontinental organization has officially announced Venezuela’s delegation for the upcoming edition recently. Emmy Carrero will be representing the country at the 50th anniversary edition of the Miss Intercontinental competition. She succeeds Miss Intercontinental Venezuela 2021 Auri Lopez for the title.

Emmy was crowned as the winner during the coronation ceremony of Miss Global Beauty Venezuela 2021 and was elected to represent the country at the international competition. Along with the title, she also won several special awards including, Miss Interactiva, Miss Elegancia, Miss Fotogenica and Belleza Integral, at the end of the event.

 

 

“I have no way to thank and repay you so much love and support, my words fall short because what I really want is to be able to see you, hug you and share my triumph with each one of you,” the diva shared.

The 27 year-old diva was born in Merida to Venezuelan parents. Since her childhood she liked art for what inspired her to radio and TV and win a Latin American Gold award, Revelation Program of the Year, for the same.

Not new to pageantry, she began her modelling career and participated in different beauty pageants including Miss Venezuela 2015. Emmy is currently a graduate with a degree from TSU in Media Production and is pursuing of Business Administration.

 

 

Emmy is also currently preparing for her international stint at the Miss Intercontinental 2022 platform. Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obenita of Philippines won the 49th edition of the international pageant on 29th October 2021 at Hotel Sunrise Diamond Beach resort, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. She will crown her successor at the end of the finale of the 50th Miss Intercontinental pageant.
