Miss International 2017 saw its conclusion with the crowning of Kevin Lilliana from Indonesia as Miss International 2017.

The competition witnessed rounds like swimwear and evening dress after which the Top contenders were announced. Just before the final moments of the competition, one such round was the final speech where the girls spoke their hearts out about what issue they will advocate if they become Miss International 2017.

All the girls were outstanding in this round, but some stood out among the rest and we have our favourites’ list. Let’s have a look at whose speech and confidence shined the most.

Crisp and to the point, Chanelle de Lau from Curaçao knows how to portray her point in fewer words and more efficient. A beauty in her pink gown, this 1st runner-up of Miss International 2017 talked about sharing a love and making lovely memories of her journey. She said that this quality makes us rich as human beings. She promised that if given a chance, she is a woman who will fulfil her reign with integrity.

The beauty of Ecuador, Jocelyn Mieles shined bright in a copper brown gown that reflected her curves perfectly. Her smile and compassion were a sight to behold in this round and it seemed she felt what she said. A little emotional from her selection in Top 8, she shared her dream about a world that’s full of peace and prosperity of all cultures, religions, and lifestyles. She urged with empathy for more tolerance, and respect for people.

Pleasing to eyes and a melody to ears, when the 2nd runner-up Diana Croce from Venezuela talks, you want to listen. She looked mesmerizing in a pink gown and shared her thoughts about women empowerment and how she wants to advocate this issue on a global platform. She believes that women are most powerful beings because of their capability to give unflinching love to one and all.

The esteemed judges of the final night were Akemi Shimomura, Kylie Verzosa, Yasuhiro Tsuboi, Michiko Fujiwara, Mariko Bando, Senko Ikenabo, Sojitsu Kobori among others took the final decision on the basis of this round.
