Miss International Organization is gearing up to host the grand coronation of Miss International 2020 as it marks the 60th anniversary of the pageant. It is said to be hosted on 29th October 2020 at Pacifico Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan. Miss International 2019 Sireethorn Leearamwat of Thailand will crown her successor at the end of the event.

With delegates being crowned for the pageant; Mahyla Roth Benavides from Cahuita has been crowned to represent Costa Rica at the Miss International 2020 beauty pageant. Mahyla is 21-years-old and studies sociology.

Mahlya was one of the five contestants who were crowned to represent the country in different competitions worldwide. The finale was held at the Humboldt College events centre in Rohrmoser in October 2019. The diva is a very strong and confident woman who aspires not only to be a sociologist but also a successful beauty queen who is a role model to young women out there.

Mahlya is excited to be a part of Miss International 2020 competition where she will be able to showcase her side of the country, she was born in. She expressed her gratitude towards everything including god for allowing her to live though such a beautiful experience that she can cherish for the rest of her life.

The diva understands that with crown comes responsibilities and she is ready to take them on with working hard and dedicating her time to prepare for the competition. She has almost a year to prepare and during this time, she is working on her on-stage walk, body postures, body angels, communication and interview skills for the competition. She wants to impress the judges with her intelligent answers along with flawless walk.

Mahlya is strong, confident and determined to win the title for Costa Rica. She likes to spend her free time with her family and friends and likes to spend some alone time in order to understand her emotions and thoughts. The diva is very concerned with the nature and environmental conditions of mother earth and would like to advocate on that.

The 21-year old diva has worked with various renowned designers, brands and photographers who have taught her the tips and techniques to ace her performance on stage. The people who have worked with the diva has mentioned that her kindness, simplicity and charisma is something that sets her apart from any other beauty queens. She has the spirit of a warrior and would give her hundred percent for the competition.

Mahlya can surly be one of the strongest contenders for the competition as her zeal to win and complete the challenges is known to be impeccable.
