The 23-year-old politician Farzana Yasmin Ananna is all set to make history for Bangladesh as she has been designated Miss International Bangladesh 2023 and will now be the first ever delegate from her country to compete at Miss International 2023.

Farzana also spoke about how honored she is that she is making history as the first representative of Bangladesh in Japan on Miss International stage. This journey is a testament to the nation's growth and global presence and she looks forward to bridging the cultures and building stronger ties between our countries.

On being the first ever Bangladeshi representative at Miss International, Farzana also took to her official social media as she wrote, “I am deeply grateful for the privilege of being the first representative of Miss International from my country. I want to assure that I am committed to working tirelessly for the benefit of the people, always.”

As Miss International Bangladesh, Farzana wishes to give back to the society and create a lasting impact. She hopes to maintain the strength and courage to continue her mission to serve her country. Farzana was also the first COVID frontliner in Bangladesh and risked her life countless times to assist those in need.

Over the course of 18 months, she aided 50,000 individuals affected by COVID-19. As a student leader, she helped 1,000 students and extended help to 500 people during the Sylhet floods last year. She also contributed to rebuilding homes for 100 individuals affected by Cyclone Amphan in Bagerhat, Khulna, and Shathkhira and assisted 400 individuals during the Sundarbans flood last year.

The 61st edition of Miss International will be held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26th October 2023 where Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
