The Finalists Costa Rica organization had crowned Mahyla Roth as Miss International Costa Rica 2020 to represent the country at Miss International 2020 pageant. Since the 60th edition of the pageant was initially scheduled in 2020 but, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved twice; first in 2021 and later to 2022, Mahyla will now represent the country at Miss International 2022.

Mahyla is a 21-year-old sociology student. The diva is a powerful and self-assured woman who wishes to be a sociologist as well as a successful beauty queen who may serve as a role model for young women. Mahlya is excited to be a part of Miss International where she will be able to showcase her side of the country, she was born in. She expressed her gratitude towards everything including god for allowing her to live though such a beautiful experience that she can cherish for the rest of her life.

Mahyla diva understands that with crown comes responsibilities and she is ready to take them on with working hard and dedicating her time to prepare for the competition. She has had almost two years to prepare and during this time, the diva worked on her on-stage walk, body postures, body angels, and communication and interview skills for the competition. She hopes to impress the judges with her intelligent answers along with flawless walk.

Roth has collaborated with a number of well-known designers, brands, and photographers who have taught her how to master her stage presence. People who have worked with the diva have said that she stands apart from other beauty queens because of her friendliness, simplicity, and charisma. She possesses a warrior's spirit and would give her all for the competition.

Mahlya is a powerful, confident, and driven Costa Rican who wants to win the crown. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as spending time alone to better understand her emotions and thoughts. The diva is concerned about planet’s natural and environmental concerns and would like to advocate for them.

Mahlya is undoubtedly one of the strongest candidates, as her will to win and accomplish the challenges is well-known. She will represent Costa Rica at Miss International 2022, the 60th edition of the Miss International pageant scheduled to be held in December in Japan.
