Miss Ecuador organization held the finale of the 2022 edition on 3rd September 2022 at Malecón de Quevedo, Los Ríos where Georgette Kalil Roha was crowned Miss Ecuador International 2022 as she became the official representative of Ecuador at Miss International 2023.

Kalil was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador on 8th June 2002. She is daughter of Elias Kalil and Tatiana Roha. Georgette is currently studying a bachelor's degree in clinical psychology at Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.

Not new to the pageantry, Roha became one of the official candidates at Miss Ecuador 2022 where she represented her city Guayaquil. During the final, Kalil was awarded as ‘Miss Catrice’ (Best Face) of the pageant by the sponsor and placed as the first runner-up.

On winning Miss International Ecuador 2022 crown, Kalil took to her official social media as she wrote, “My heart is full and happy! I know I did my best and you guys witnessed that! Thank you and a thousand times thank you Ecuador! Thank you for believing in me from day one, thank you for teaching me to believe in me and showing me that perseverance and discipline dreams do come true!”

Miss International 2023 will be the 61st Miss International to be held at the Yoyogi Gymnasium No. 2 in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan on 26th October 2023. Miss International 2022 Jasmin Selberg of Germany will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
