Miss Grand Panama organization, through their official social media, announced the appointment of Julia Leong as the new Miss Grand Panama 2023 and is now preparing to represent her country at Miss Grand International 2023.

Julia is a 26-year-old businesswoman, tourism ambassador and a master's student from La Chorrera, Panama West province. She is bilingual, with a degree in finance and international business. She is currently studying project management.

Julia also actively participates as a volunteer in the national association against cancer, the Panama Joven Foundation and care for the environment, since she loves to serve and be available to the community. Julia is also an entrepreneur, athlete and leader. Not new to the pageantry, she was the queen of the Carnival of Panama 2020 and a participant in Miss Panama.

Miss Grand International 2023 will be the 11th edition of the Miss Grand International which will be held on 25th October 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This will be the second time for Vietnam to host the contest, the first was in 2017 at the Vinpearl Convention Center on Phú Quc island.
